Role Overview

Epicured is seeking a Vice President, Commercial Research & Analytics to support and elevate our commercial strategy through rigorous research, analytics, and market intelligence. This role will partner closely with the Chief Revenue & Strategy Officer to inform sales strategy, commercial marketing, pricing, and partnership development through data-driven insights.

This is a hands-on, analytical leadership role ideal for someone who excels at turning complex data into clear, actionable insights and executive-ready narratives. The successful candidate will combine strong analytical depth with business acumen and comfort working across sales, marketing, finance, and leadership teams.

Key Responsibilities

Commercial Strategy & Analytics

• Support enterprise sales, commercial marketing, and growth strategy through quantitative and qualitative research

• Develop analytical models and frameworks to evaluate revenue opportunities, pricing strategies, and market expansion

• Build and maintain advanced Excel models to support forecasting, scenario analysis, and commercial decision-making

Market Research & Competitive Intelligence

• Conduct ongoing market and competitive research across products, services, and peer organizations

• Analyze industry trends, customer segments, and emerging opportunities within healthcare, food-as-medicine, and enterprise nutrition

• Translate market findings into strategic recommendations for senior leadership

Data Analysis & Executive Communication

• Perform data mining and analysis across internal and external data sources

• Create executive-ready PowerPoint presentations, dashboards, and reporting materials

• Clearly communicate insights, risks, and opportunities to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner closely with Sales, Commercial Marketing, Finance, Product, and Leadership teams

• Support development of commercial narratives for enterprise clients, partners, and strategic initiatives

• Act as a thought partner to senior leaders on data-backed strategy and long-term planning

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in commercial analytics, strategy, consulting, market research, or related fields

• Advanced proficiency in Excel (financial modeling, spreadsheet modeling, data analysis)

• Strong experience with market research, competitive analysis, and business intelligence

• Proven ability to synthesize complex data into clear, compelling insights

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level presentation experience

• High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of the health insurance market, provider systems, or healthcare reimbursement models

• Familiarity with healthcare legal, regulatory, and financial environments

• Background or exposure to population health, HEOR (Health Economics & Outcomes Research), or value-based care

• Experience working in healthcare, life sciences, food-as-medicine, or adjacent regulated industries

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary Range: $110,000 – $130,000, commensurate with experience
